Camping in Peak District Fri 6 to Weds 11 August

Suzie and I are arranging a trip to the Peak District In August for a change. We are likely to stay in Edale at the following site:
Coopers Camping and Caravan Site
New Fold Farm
Edale
S33 7ZD
Tel: 01433 670372

The advantages of this site are:
- very close to pub and a cafe for breakfasts
- basic but decent facilities
- plenty of walking straight from site including Kinder
- plenty more in Hope Valley. Mam Tor and Lose Hill ridge is one I haven't done and want to.
- not too far from Hathersage area for the climbers (8 miles?)

Camping Trip to Edale has been delayed.

I am now going on Sunday 8 August. Suzie has had to change plans but still hopes to make it ;later. Frank and Sue will going on Sunday 8 August but probably for just 2 nights. I will be staying until at least Thursday 12 August. My tent is a green Wildcountry Duolite Tourer (2 man, with a long porch and an unusual external frame.) My car is a silver Ford Focus, the reg starting "NC52".
